My 1st arm injury

I think all my serious injuries in my life are caused by the most simple activities tat one can tink of. My knee problems (ligament injury, tilted kneecap) were caused by a backward fall off a stone bench in YCK stadium (that kind in the stadiums, where the stone steps and benches are made from one block).
Now this latest injury (small crack in my lower elbow bone joint - so small the senior consultant looking at my xrays spoke so casually abt it - he prob had seens thousands of elbow injuries) is caused by a slip during my landing for my SBJ during my IPPT at Khatib Camp. My 1st Reservist IPPT and I had to chu Stunt. This stunt is like not totally worth it. Now i cant do shit(literally cant shit wifout my arm reminding me of the injury). Sent to TTSH A&E by SAF ambulance accompanied by an ex-YJCian medic. Talked abt school on the way there, abt the good ol' days in WHY-JC.
Got bandaged up in TTSH n into a makeshift sling. Cudnt sleep on the 1st night, but its now better, dun hurt as much, i can type leh....Worried cus this is my writing arm, my hand is like numbing over sianz....... Well hope it gets better.

DUN WASTE YOUR FOOD!

Firstly we (jm,ng n me) were at this gelato shop at bugis, trying to sastify our sweet teeth(or tooth).
2 girls and 1 guy occupied this table b4 us. The guy didnt fin the waffle which is ok...(top right). The bottom half finished portion is barely acceptable, but the portion at the top left was barely touched and it was 2 scoops! How can any1 waste such good luxury food???? For ppl who dearly enjoyed their share of sweet stuff, ice cream, gelato, etc.... such waste is simply unimaginable! Pretty pissed by the girl who left the untouched portion behind. It's not simply a waste of money, it's just against my moral principles on food. We should be grateful to have more than enough to eat, so wastage should be avoided as much as possible.....

Disturbing Way to Reuse things.....

Ppl usually put auspicious figures or statues on fountains to bring luck and such. So when one try to apply the same concept of spirituality to this picture, I tink it is more than disturbing.....

House of Cards!

Did this in the bar, during the 2/3 reunion event (december). Think i tried more than 10 times...

FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

My fuel to last me through the night as I worked on my essay......This plate contains 2 packets of M&Ms, 1 packet of almonds and the other packet is peanuts...I finished it as I reached my conclusion....(Notes & Laptop on the left n right respectively)

Adventuring......

Its menu.....I have the yam paste with ginko nuts.....but I finished it b4 I realised I supposed to take a picture.
Another view of the shop
Its other branches.......The Arcade and Tanjong Pagar Plaza

Came by this shop while exploring Chinatown, it's at People's Park Centre across Chinatown MRT,using the overhead bridge. I remember asking the lady about their opening hours but I forgotten it but I got the impression from her answer that it was open till quite late.

Adventuring......

Time Travel.........

Oh I happen to find this pic in my com. It was taken when I was working last year. Notice the date of the email the cursor is pointing at............LOL.....it was some user-server problem, not synchronised date and time.......haha

Sometimes we have our limits!

Im so tired that I cant even open my eyes properly, it keeps drooping....All the late nights are draining me..........Sometimes I dun even know how I got up from bed and then make a cup of coffee halfasleep.....I guess nowadays everybody can do that now....I wonder how those ppl who dun take coffee stay alive.....

Chingay 2008 24 Feb, Floats at Sembawang

I hurriedly slip into my 8SAB singlet hanging over my bed as I shuffled my feet towards the door, telling my parents that Im doing down to view the floats (which they had already done so and came back) I spied my sandals in the shoe rack and quickly slip my feet into the familiar soles. I turned towards the rolling sounds of cheering n music as I moved to wait at the lift lobby. Upon entering the lift, I saw a late middle-aged man in a red-black 9Div singlet, and a little girl with her father. Though speaking in Tamil/Hindi, I could tell that the girl n her father had the same motives as I had. Giggling n urging her father, the girl passed on to me her growing enthusiasm to me, I too felt a growing sense of euphoria as the lift made its way down.

I was the 1st one out of the lift, I turned left n spied in the distance, through the multistorey carpark, the blinking lights and cheering sounds. I increased my pace to a jog towards the lights, a sense of nostalgia overwhelmed, as in the distant past, I had ran towards the same lights, the same future. As I crossed the road, I suddenly recalled the girl and her father and I turned back and saw the girl pulling her father along as she spied the same future and the father was simply buoyed as he was taken by his own future, his daughter's unbridled joy as he pick up the pace with her daughter. I hurried down the same flight of stairs in the carpark as I approached the road. With the wonders of technology today, one would think he might be watching a video instead of seeing it with his own two eyes. That was how I felt when I reached the roads. Perhaps it is this feeling that compelled people to seek the 'live' events, to be there, that sense of belonging and achievement.

The multi-coloured lights washed over my eyes as I watched. I quickly realised that I was looking at the last float, as the rest of the procession turned round the corner. With a growing sense of dread, I crossed the road packed with cars that had stopped to view the convoy. Standing in the middle divider, I wait for a chance to cross as I gauged whether can I catch up with the convoy. Upon crossing the road, I started into a run to try to catch up with convoy, fueled by a sense of longing and regret. I decided to cut through the estate, trying to catch the convoy at the next bend. As I dashed through the blocks, the lights and music faded further and further away. The stubbornness in me urged to go faster while the rational me told me to stop. I ran and ran till these two emotions met at my saddened heart. Panting with exertion, I stood and watched people heading for their homes having been there earlier. I admired them for they got wat they wanted whilst a young man grasped at fleeting desires. Dejected I headed for home, as I wondered how many of these lost moments had I gotten.....

Am I such a person??? (click here to try the test)

The Poolboy

Random Gentle Sex Dreamer (RGSD)

The Poolboy

Friendly and eager. You are The Pool Boy.

A teen at heart, you anxiously move about your daily tasks, hoping, praying for a good, instant lay. You're carefree, enthusiastic, and rarely discouraged. Love is cool, but it's not for you right now. You know what is? Crotches.

You're a fun person in both big and small groups, and your friends trust and love you. Inside you, meanwhile, your lust is only growing. Imagine your beating heart sprouting pubic hair. Exactly. Try shaving that.

If you're not scoring enough--which you aren't--you should adopt new strategies. Lower your standards. Be aggressive. Pool Boys are often submissive and hope (desperately) sex will find them. Realize that passiveness will not hook the horny girls you desire. A bolder approach and sheer repetition will.

Encik; Why u give me so much rice???? Nasi Briyani

Think they were closing the stall and wanted to clear out the rice pot, so he gave everything to me, smiliing cheekily, finish, help me finish K? I was too dumbfounded to answer...The packet of rice was the size of a mini pillow, those travel headrest kind..The rice coulda fed my whole family!

My mum didnt prepare dinner tonight, so I went out to buy dinner for myself n grandma only. Sick of the usual chinese food and got Nasi Briyani instead. Asked for some curry, some stalls dun give curry by default.

Lunch at the Terrace

Had lunch at Biz Fac today. Went to this South Vietnamese food stall. Had stewed pork, veggies(not tasty) and rice for my meal. Bought this Saigon Net Spring Roll as well (hope I got the name right). It costs $1.50. Tasted great so much that I finished each in 2 mouthfuls only. Tink it has yam and meat fillings.

A case of Sheer Strength? Or Stupidity? <--Mostly is this...:(

It was raining as I set off from my house with this umbrella that I got from camp before. After I reached the shelter of the SBW MRT, I started twirling the umbrella to shake off the rainwater from the umbrella. Most unfortunately (sigh...) I broke the handle, n I couldnt find a dustbin in time(was getting late for lecture),so I brought it along with me till i disposed of it in school...

Some good advice --09/11/07

While waiting for my friend along the hallways of History Dept, I saw this on the noticeboard of my Hist Prof. Lockhart, besides his room. Lesson learnt: Never be a poser, be yourself.(though u might be completely uncool, like me, but which might also means u R HOT!, unlike me...sobz)

FIND THE LIZARD! ---07/11/07
